Bus Eireann

Hi all,

I have just finished adding 1500 new Bus Eireann stops onto our site. All the national buses which go in and out of Dublin as well as all the expressway routes have been mapped. We have currently half the Bus Eireann routes done nationwide. Our end goal is to allow people to pick any 2 places in Ireland and let us work out the best way to get you there!:)

where did you get the info from, I was only told now about googlemaps having the bus routes on their maps now automatically, , wpould it better to have a line showing the routes rather then dots?

you seem to only reconise the roads that the buses are on, so it doesnt recognise any other roads?

could you put in places like airport, city centre

im typing this black on black , could you change it so we can see what we type in the commnet box/

Cross routes are very important - but how many exist. What about Tallaght to UCD and where is the 77a and the almost mythical 49a?

Hi, you need to look at the 44B route again, from dundrum heading south you have it going to Broadford (Ballinteer). You have the 48A route terminating in dundrum, it actually goes to where you have the 44B! Am I making myself clear?
Also, I typed in Ballinteer Avenue but while I see it on the map, your system does not recognise it!
Otherwise, great website, great prospects for when it’s fully functioning. Keep it going.

Great website guys! sorely needed.
Is there a way to let users update the site like a wiki, might save you a lot of hassle.
tried a sample route of rathfarnham road to the airport and only the direst option comes up. there should be many routes available if you include one bus change.

best of luck.
